While we are unable to gather together in person to celebrate Golden Eagles Spirit Fest this year, you can join in on the fun, virtually. #Flywithus for an interactive lineup of events; it will be an SJC Golden Eagles celebration you do not want to miss! Alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends — all are welcome to take part.

The first 50 alumni to sign up and give a $10 donation to the Golden Eagles Athletics Fund will receive an SJC mask and T-shirt.

St. Joseph’s College Dash for Golden Eagles

Ready. Set. GO-lden Eagles! Join the SJCNY community in our inaugural virtual 5k/10k run or walk.  The first 200 participants will receive a keepsake runner’s bib and finisher medal.

Golden Eagles Virtual Scavenger Hunt

Hot Wyngz challenges you to a scavenger hunt beginning on September 24 (a list of items will be posted online). Participants must submit their scavenger hunt photos of found items through our provided online form by midnight on September 26. The first 25 people that successfully complete all the items in the scavenger hunt, will receive an exclusive SJC branded blanket! (one blanket per family)

Tom Petriano

Lunch & Learn: Faculty Spotlight, Mindfulness presented by Tom Petriano

Tom Petriano, Professor and Chair of Religious Studies will present on the practice of “Mindfulness”, the concept of being fully present and aware in the moment to provide aid in stress management, anxiety and general wellbeing. The presentation will include a basic introduction to the concept and virtual demonstrations to practice in everyday life. Questions and discussion from the audience will be encouraged.

Lunch and Learn: Student Life

Join us for a meet and greet with the newly appointed Associate Vice President for Student Life, Janelle Hill, the student life team and SGA students. The program will include updates on the exciting future and direction of student life at SJC Long Island, along with an opportunity for questions & answers from the audience. Alumni SGA members are encouraged to attend! 


Virtual Trivia

SJC Virtual Trivia 

St. Joseph’s Alumni Association is pleased to bring together the SJC Community for an evening of trivia at one of the world’s most exciting virtual scenes. Marian Russo and Andrea Volk ’04 will be our hosts for the evening.

Honors Program Reunion

Join Professors Wendy Turgeon, Ph.D. & James Blakeley, Ph.D., current students and fellow alumni for a conversation about the Honors Program at SJCNY. Alumni will have the chance to share their experiences, future plans or what they are currently doing now. Come together for a morning of celebrating you, the Honors Students, present and past!

Accounting Program Reunion

Meet with Assistant Professor Mary Chance, Accounting Chairperson, Jennifer Mensche ’01 ’16, current students and alumni to talk about all that is happening with the SJC Accounting program. This meetup will provide a chance for alumni to reflect on their experience as accounting majors and talk with current students about the impact that the major had on their career and professional life.

Golden Eagles Huddle

Fly with us! Alumni athletes join the Golden Eagles Huddle for a conversation with the newly appointed Director of Athletics and Recreation, Melody Cope as she provides updates with her staff and coaches on the current state of SJC Long Island athletics. You will also hear from current and former student-athletes as they talk about leadership, teamwork, and resilience during a time of cancelled sports. After the formal program, “locker rooms” will open for the SJCNY Athletics community to continue to network.
