The gifts that keep on giving

After you make your initial Recurring Gift donation, future donations will be charged every month to your credit card. All donations are processed on the 15th of the month.

A monthly receipt will be mailed to you. If you would like to request an annual receipt, contact Catherine Scott, Assistant to the Director of Annual Giving Programs and Scholarships, at 718.940.5578 or cscott@sjcny.edu.

What is SJC’s Recurring Gift Program?

St. Joseph’s College is very grateful for each gift we receive, and we want to make it as simple as possible for you to support the College. SJC’s Recurring Gift Program is a simple and convenient way for donors to easily make their gift to the Annual Fund in regular monthly contributions from a debit or credit card.

How does the Recurring Gift Program help you?

Enrolling in the program means you won’t have to worry about writing and sending a check, and the number of phone and mail reminders you receive from the College will decrease.

If you choose to continue to participate in this program from year to year, you will be listed among SJC’s most loyal and valued donors and will be recognized for your participation. For as little as $8.34 a month, you can become a part of the College’s giving societies. There is no minimum to give to either the recurring gift program or the giving societies.

How does the Recurring Gift Program help St. Joseph’s College?

Monthly contributions provide the College with an on-going, reliable source of funding. Gifts made through this program reduce our administrative costs and allow more of each gift to be used to support St. Joseph’s College students and programs.

Monthly gifts are considered greener because they cut down on paper and gas emissions produced by mailings. Giving through this program means you bypass SJC Annual Fund appeals, helping us reduce our costs, which allows us to fund more on-campus programs and help more students.

How does the Recurring Gift Program work?

After you make your initial Recurring Gift donation, future donations will be charged every month to your credit card. All donations, including the first, are processed on the 15th of the month.

A record of each gift will appear on your monthly bank or credit card statement and you will receive an annual statement by mail for tax purposes in the first quarter (January-March) of each calendar year.
