Brooklyn Gym

St. Joseph’s has two vibrant campuses in Patchogue and Brooklyn – and both are evolving. New athletic complexes are on the horizon for both, with a state-of-the-art gym being planned for the Brooklyn Campus in 2013. A fundraising campaign is underway for this building, one that is sure to transform more than just the landscape of Vanderbilt Avenue. Be a part of this exciting time and invest in the future of the College by making a gift to the Brooklyn Gym.

SJC has been a fixture in the Clinton Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn for nearly 100 years. As the College has grown, so has the need for updated facilities. Our athletes have been without a true home since the athletics program was established. It is their time to have the full experience of a college athlete, and the Brooklyn Gym will finally give them that chance. Help us make it a home that will benefit the entire SJC community.

What is planned for the new Brooklyn Gym?
The brand new 43,623-square-foot facility will feature a 270-seat NCAA regulation basketball and volleyball court, fully equipped fitness center, locker rooms, an athletic training room and a multipurpose room.

How do I make a gift to the Brooklyn Gym project?
As with many of our giving initiatives, there are a variety of options when declaring a gift for the Brooklyn Gym project. Please review the list of available naming opportunities.

“Our world needs the wonderful values that have always been a part of the legacy of St. Joseph’s College.”
